Stephen B. West, O.D.
Stephen B. West, O.D., is an optometrist specializing in the medical and optical treatment of the eyes for adults and children.
Dr. West is a native of Carlisle, PA. and a graduate of Carlisle High School. He continued his education at Juniata College in Huntington, Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. In 1990, Dr. West graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry with clinical honors in Low Vision and Primary Eye Care. He began is career as a staff optometrist at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia within their Low Vision Service and Pediatric Contact Lens Service. He was also a staff member at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnwood, Pennsylvania. Dr. West returned to Carlisle in 1993 and in 2007, he opened the Mechanicsburg practice, West Eye Associates. Dr. West, along with Dr. O & Dr. Crouse, opened West Eye Carlisle in 2025. He currently sees patients at both locations.
Dr. West is a 25 year member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association.
Dr West is married and has 3 children. He resides in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania.
Alexandra L. Oszustowicz,O.D.
Alexandra L. Oszustowicz, O.D., or Dr. O, is an optometrist who specializes in the medical and optical management and treatment of the eyes for adults and children.
Dr. Oszustowicz is originally from Carlisle, PA and graduated from Trinity High School. She continued her education at University of Richmond in Richmond, VA where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Following college, Dr. O attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, PA where she graduated with clinical honors in Primary Care and Low Vision. She then went on to complete a residency at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Primary Care and Ocular Disease.
After completing her residency, Dr. O joined West Eye Associates. Dr. O, along with Dr. West & Dr. Crouse opened West Eye Associates, Carlisle in 2025. She currently sees patients at both locations.
Dr. O is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association.
Dr. O and Dr. Crouse are married and have two children and one dog.
Tyler P. Crouse, O.D.
Tyler P. Crouse, O.D. is our newest doctor. He is an optometrist who specializes in the medical and optical management and treatment of the eyes for adults and children.
Dr. Crouse is originally from Ottumwa, IA. He attended Central College in Pella, IA where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology. After college, Dr. Crouse continued his education at Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, PA where he graduated with clinical honors in Primary Care and Low Vision. He then completed a residency at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Primary Care and Ocular Disease.
Dr. Crouse joined West Eye Associates in 2023. Dr. Crouse, along with Dr. West & Dr. O, opened West Eye Associates- Carlisle in 2025. He currently sees patients at both locations
